GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I am absolutely and completely overwhelmed with emotion at the moment.
after Jason's surgery last March we vowed that if it was a success to remember to send his doctors in Knoxville a thank you card and the sonogram.
so I made a copy and as I started writing the letter all of the stuff just started flooding back.
the struggles
The pain
The fights with other doctors' offices, insurance and surgery centers.
all of the no's
then the surgery actually happening
but then the waiting
the pleading with God
the tears
All worth so so worth it. :)
Because in 4-5 months we'll be holding our baby girl.
The other day as I was driving to work before we knew that she's a girl, I had to just stop and thank God.
Not just for the baby.
More than that.
For the wait.
Because she is soooo...worth...the..wait. :)

And Jay, just like you said, what a road we've traveled to get here.
I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else. :)
